TELL YOUR ELECTED OFFICIALS TO STOP THE TAX HIKES.

In the last seven years, our county has added thousands of positions, yet the services they provide have declined. Two years ago, the county raised the property tax rate by 4.7% and yet less than half of Montgomery County residents feel like they are getting the full value of county services for the amount of local taxes they pay (source: 2024 Montgomery County Resident Survey).

With cost of living continuing to rise and so many of our neighbors affected by the massive layoffs of the federal workforce, this is not the time for tax hikes that will push working people out of our county.
